Cagliari Cruise Port at Seatrade Cruise Global 2021
Cagliari Cruise Port is participating in Seatrade Cruise Global 2021 in Miami Beach, where it is present at booth #813 alongside other ports belonging to the Global Ports Holding group.
Seatrade Cruise Global, the most important annual trade fair for the cruise sector, resumes its in-person activities after the pause imposed by the global health emergency. Alongside the virtual event implemented in 2020, the in-person event takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, starting today, September 27, and running until September 30.
Over the past four decades, Seatrade Cruise Global has developed a unique and productive relationship with the entire cruise community, connecting products, innovative services, and people to advance the industry. Cagliari Cruise Port’s participation in the event, promoted by the Municipality of Cagliari as part of the “Cagliari, Land of Cruises” project aimed at increasing cruise ship calls at the Sardinian capital’s port, represents a unique opportunity to interact with representatives from cruise lines and tour operators, as well as an important moment for growth, updates, and strategic planning.
The company has always collaborated with local institutions and economic stakeholders to present a unique and complete product to the cruise market, represented by the exclusive destination of Cagliari and southern Sardinia. The destination continues to attract more cruise lines thanks to a wide range of shore excursions, constantly updated services, and one of the best facilities in the Mediterranean.
Since the end of 2016, Cagliari Cruise Port has been part of the Global Ports Holding (GPH) network, the world’s largest independent cruise terminal operator, with a consolidated presence in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Asia-Pacific regions, including important commercial operations in Turkey and Montenegro. GPH manages 21 ports in 13 countries, continues to grow steadily, serves 14 million passengers annually, and holds a 24% market share in the Mediterranean each year.
